Profiling the next generation with ASOS

THE CHALLENGE

Position ASOS as a brand that fosters student creativity, and is seen as a great place for students to work

THE STUDENT INSIGHT

ASOS is in a fortunate position in that it is seen as an aspirational brand, and one which students would like to learn more about. However, it’s primarily seen as a shopping destination, and accordingly, there is a necessity to demonstrate the benefits of working for them

THE IDEA

So we did exactly that through the creation of two inspiring Branded Stories. Firstly we told the story of what it’s like to work for ASOS whilst still at uni, featuring three interviews with employees waxing about the perks of working for the brand. Then we followed up by interviewing the third year student whose design for a tote bag is being sold on the ASOS site here in the UK. Both stories were distributed nationally across our website and social accounts

THE RESULTS

  • Over 48,000 views of the ASOS branded stories (over 100% up on benchmark)

  • Driving 850 students to the ASOS site post campaign
